连词
- 并列连词：连接两个对等子句，构成合句；
- 从属连词：引导从属从句，与主句构成复句；
常用的并列连词
- and；
- or；
- but；
主语
- 主语部分可通过并列连词放进两个以上的名词短语；
George and Mary were good friends.

谓语
We always worked and played together.

形容词
- 若多个形容词修饰的为不同层面，直接并列；
- 若多个形容词修饰的为同一层面，使用并列连词；

I saw a black and white cat on the wall.
副词
- 若副词修饰另一个副词，直接并列；
- 若多个副词修饰同一个对象，使用并列连词；
// very 修饰 quickly, 不需要并列连词

He spoke quickly but clearly.
并列连词的对称要求
- 并列连词连接的部分必须对称；
// 前为形容词, 后为名词, 错误
